HASMUG Day 5 event opening up for the last 40 seats!
If you have followed the news on twitter on hashtag #TE14D5 or watched Twitter handle @SCUGDay5, then you know that the Houston Area Systems Management User Group (HASMUG) is organizing a Day-5 event. On friday next week, directly after Teched, IT professionals can join this two-track event full of Microsoft MVP and Microsoft product group speakers, presenting on level 300 and level 400 sessions. The event will be conveniently located at the same venue where Teched is being held: George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston.
Thanks to the wonderful sponsors, HASMUG was able to heavily subsidize the event tickets, and the event was sold out within 48 hours! That being said, I just received the great news that a little bit more capacity was created, and that ticket sales for the last 40 seats will open up later today. Sponsorship funds have been used up, so these last tickets will sell for $250 a piece. Included are the meals and happy hour at the end, and of course: more than 10 deep-dive sessions from the Experts themselves!
Cameron Fuller, co-creater of this event and MVP says: “Due to the incredible generosity of our Day-5 sponsors we have been able to bring this event into existence with a minimal cost to attendees. The goal of this event is to make it available to as much of the community as possible, and with that direction in mind we have opened up the last 40 seats at the actual cost of event attendance at $250 per attendee.”
So hurry up and go to http://hasmug.eventbrite.com to have a last chance at attending this great event. The cutoff date for these late registrations are 6 PM CST Monday May 12th.
